ANTMAiL

Transactional and opt-in email platform built by ANT Digital.

What is ANTMAiL

ANTMAiL is the internal email delivery platform we built at ANT Digital to send transactional notifications and opt-in communications responsibly. It runs on Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) and is designed around deliverability best practices and strict consent.

What ANTMAiL sends

• Account notifications (welcome emails, subscription confirmations, password resets).
• Service communications (report deliveries, invoice notifications, status updates).
• Opt-in newsletters — only to recipients who explicitly subscribed via our double opt-in flow.

What ANTMAiL does NOT send

• No cold email, no unsolicited outreach.
• No purchased, rented, or scraped lists.
• No content outside the scope of our Anti-Spam Policy.

How recipients opt in

Every recipient completes a double opt-in flow:

1. User submits an email address through an explicit consent form on our website or a client's website, with a clear checkbox or affirmative action.
2. A confirmation email is sent with a verification link.
3. Only after the user clicks the verification link is the address added to our active sending list.

We store the timestamp, source URL, and IP address for every consent record.

Deliverability practices

• Authentication: SPF, DKIM (2048-bit RSA), and DMARC with p=quarantine on every sending domain.
• Monitoring: Real-time bounce, complaint, and delivery tracking via Amazon SNS and CloudWatch alarms.
• Suppression: Automated global suppression of bounced or complaining addresses.
• Unsubscribe: One-click unsubscribe in every email (RFC 8058 compliant).
• List hygiene: Inactive subscribers (180+ days without engagement) enter a sunset flow and are eventually suppressed.

Who operates ANTMAiL

ANTMAiL is operated by ANT Digital SpA, a Chilean digital agency. The platform is maintained internally by our engineering team, who monitor sending metrics daily and respond to any deliverability issues within business hours.
